I have a jquery menu plugin as my main navigation menu – when I installed and activated event espresso the “calendar” view/ Events page looses the “drop down” child pages and it pulls my sticky footer up ….
can anyone help me figure out where the discrepancy here is?
Only thing I can think of is if there is maybe an open tag left somewhere in the event espresso plug in (the menu works perfectly on all other pages.
here’s the link to the page I am having trouble with.
jQuery is being prevented from loading in the WordPress standard “no-conflict mode”, probably by your theme. http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_enqueue_script#jQuery_noConflict_wrappers
Try switching your theme to the twenty eleven theme that comes with WordPress and see if this fixes the problem. We most often see this problem with ThemeForest themes by authors who are not following WordPress community standards designed to let themes and plugins all work together. If it is a problem with a piece of third-party software, such as a theme, we can most likely help you make adjustments to the theme’s coding in order to bring it up to WordPress community standards, but we would require the purchase of a support token to cover the time that it would take us.
Thanks.
