Hello,
I have set up a new template for my existing client and I am using the Storefront Theme that comes with WooCommerce. I have installed the plugin Event Espresso – Events Table View Template (EE 4.4.9+) and am using the shortcode [ESPRESSO_EVENTS_TABLE_TEMPLATE] in a page, however the page displays the error:
Nothing Found

It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching can help.

Any advice?
Kitka

Hi there,

Can you link me to the page so I can take a look?

(Note you can set your reply to private so only EE support can view the link if preferred)

Here is the link: https://www.kitka.net.au/goldstreet/workshops/
It is a test copy of the site.

Does the site have any upcoming events?

Checking here:
https://www.kitka.net.au/goldstreet/events/

https://www.kitka.net.au/goldstreet/?post_type=espresso_events

https://www.kitka.net.au/goldstreet/wp-json/ee/v4.8.36/events?where%5BDatetime.DTT_EVT_start%5D%5B%5D=%3C%3D&where%5BDatetime.DTT_EVT_start%5D%5B%5D=2020-07-30T23:59:59&order_by%5BEVT_name%5D=ASC&limit=0,20

Show no events, so if there are no upcoming events then the table view template has nothing to display.

Hey thanks for your response. I’ve just realised that when I imported the events from the live site, the events imported but without any dates. That’s the issue. Is there a foolproof way to import events from another site so that all of the data comes across? I used the default WP tools to do it.

You can’t export the events with the WP export tools as that just exports the event ‘posts’ and EE uses custom tables. You also can’t export and then import from site 1 to site 2 as the ID’s for the EE entities will not match the key in the custom tables.

To ‘copy’/’move’ Event Espresso from one site to another you need all of the events within wp_posts and then all of the wp_esp_* tables. In short, you copy the whole database from site 1 into site 2 using something like WP Migrate DB (or any other tool that can export the entire database and run a proper search and replace on the tables for you).
