I am having this same issue, and I saw the final post in the previous forum which makes sense.
But I believe I know why the event was showing up in some places but not others. If @dlamunyon was using WP_Query to display said events and they weren’t showing up in certain places, I think it’s due to the query argument ‘post_status’ => ‘publish’
Since the post status is no longer ‘publish’ it won’t show up in those wp_queries.
