Private events in calendar

Some events are privately published by changing the Visibility setting from Public to Private. Registered users of the site have the ee_read_private_events capability set. It works perfectlz fine everywhere except calendar.
In 2016 you wrote in this topic that it is a bug.
Is it already fixed?

Hi there,

The fix for this has not been released but there is a filter you can use to do the same thing:
