So because of Covid, we had to postpone our event twice. We kept the previous tickets valid, just kept changing the dates. Now the receipt links are not working (see below)

Hi, my name is xxxxxxx, I am emailing you because I was trying to access my ticket to XXX Comic Con, only to find that the link had been disabled. I purchased my 3 day admission ticket on April 15, 2020, my transaction ID is xxx and I would like to know if there is any way I could access it once more.

The event manager wrote

I’ve tried resending the confirmation emails to attendees, but those never get sent apparently. Maybe once the transaction is beyond a certain age, the ability to do anything with it is lost? Do you know how we can fix this?

Hi there,

So because of Covid, we had to postpone our event twice. We kept the previous tickets valid, just kept changing the dates. Now the receipt links are not working (see below)

So, just to confirm, the only change you made on the event was to adjust the Date Start and End dates?

Maybe once the transaction is beyond a certain age, the ability to do anything with it is lost?

I’m not aware of any date restrictions that would prevent the invoice/recipet from loading.

Can you send me on of the links so I can take a look?

Also a link to the event itself, please.

Note you can mark you reply private so only EE staff can view it.

Those changes should be fine.

Is it happening for ALL registrations? If so you can grab a link from the registration list:

Event Espresso -> Events -> {hover over event} -> Registrations.

In the ‘actions’ column the icon is a link to their ticket and the icon is a link to the invoice.

I’m sorry for the delay. Your last reply was flagged as spam.

The link you shared is actually a ticket link, and the dates appear to be OK as in they’re 2021 dates. If you also need to include an invoice in the email, what you can do is edit the email template so it also includes a link to the invoice. eg. you can add the [INVOICE_URL] short code to the Main Content section.
