Hi,

We will be reprinting tickets at a show that need to be the correct size (Ie, printed from a roll of paper or similar)

Are there any printers that are recommended or that anyone has had experience with?

I use a Brother laser printer for black and white tickets. If you’re printing color tickets, you’d probably want to go with a color printer.

Black and white is fine. What model Brother do you use? I’d rather get something tried and tested. Thanks again!

It’s the 2170W. It is a sheet fed printer though. I’m not familiar with the roll type printers out there.

To be honest, the ticketing add-on was designed so that the customers print out there own tickets and bring them to the event. For example, there isn’t an admin interface that will allow you to batch print tickets in bulk.

Hi Thanks again, We were thinking of printing tickets (actually now the badges) and giving each person a lanyard with badge on so maybe looking at the brother sticker printer will help. If you are interested, I’ll let youknow how I get on.

The most efficient way to do to batch print out a bunch of badges would be to use the attendee report feature to generate an excel report. Then arrange the info and mail merge the spreadsheet into a Word name badge template.
