Hi,

Do you mean add a button to print, rather than pressing ctrl-p or selecting File > Print?

If that is what you mean then the easiest way would be to edit the page template the shortcode is on and add a short amount of code

<input type="button" value="Print" class="" onClick="window.print()" />

So long as the user has javascript enabled that will open up the print box.

So if I hit control p or print, i get a 3 page document, I would like a nice page that only shows the chosen month, and the events on those dates. Not all the other stuff on the screen when I go to the website. Something that I might be able to print out and/or hang in public. Or that students could do to print it out and know what classes are upcoming….

The easiest way to accomplish this may be to create a new page hidden from main navigation, set it to use the simplified theme template you can download here, and put the calendar shortcode on it. That should remove your site’s usual header and footer, and show just the calendar.
