Hi, you could turn off the global ticket notice message type by removing the shortcodes from the TO fields for the primary registrant and the registrant.
Then create a custom ticket notice and assign it to an event.
You would need to create a custom ticket notice for each event that you would like the tickets to be sent for. Otherwise, no ticket notice emails will go out.
Assigning tickets to tables isn’t currently a feature in Event Espresso.
I have exactly the same question as 1). However, the TO field in the ticket notice (and as I notice several other messages) actually IS empty and the messages are sent nevertheless. I guess they take the (primary) registrant as default. Is this possible? If so, how to proceed to supress the ticket notices?
Have you checked the To: fields for both types of recipients? Here’s a screenshot that shows how where you switch recipients in the Ticket notice template editor:
