From 2017 this question and response that this is still the best solution. Just wondered if 5 years later it still is? Can‘t find anything more up to date.

Hi there,

Yes, the above is still the same.

EE does not officially support separating the Primary Registrant from the ‘Payee’ so you need to use custom questions.
