Can there be more than 1 primary contact email?
I would like to CC a few emails – but it seems when i put more than 1 – it doesn’t notify me or the registrant via email – but adds them into the attendees list.

Do you mean admin email? If so, yes, there’s a field in the event options box for each event where you can add alternate email addresses to send the admin email notifications.

Set the “Use fancy email headers” option to yes. That will pull the organization name and use that as the from name.

These options are on the main Event Espresso>General Settings screen.

It should support multiple email addresses. It will still send the email to the primary contact address set in Event Espresso>General settings and any entered in the alternate email field.

It might be that the server doesn’t support the fancy email headers, so you could try switching that feature off and using a plugin like http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/send-from/
