Pricing Not Calculating After Updating Event

I am running Event Espresso v3.1.35.1.P with a number of options set up for event pricing. See http://www.fmsystems.com/news-events/2014-fmsystems-user-conference/event-registration/?ee=13

I made an update to the event and now $total_cost is not calculating properly on the payment page.

I was not the person who originally set up this site, and I know there have been some customizations done. I need help to figure out what is going on.

Hi Brian,

When customization’s have been made there are so many variables to take into account that it’s hard to see exactly how/why something is happening so we can’t really support them.

The first thing to ask is what exactly did you change on the event? It looks as if the event is setup with a fixed price, then the Price Modifier Add-on has been installed to allow attendees to select questions which add values to the event.

I would start be copying the site locally or to a dev server and discovering what modifications have actually been made (I would not recommend trying to decipher this on a live site). There are a lot of templates within wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates/ which may or may not have been modified.

I often use a plugin called Duplicator to clone a site as it places the site within a neat package with an ‘installer’ you can use to install the locally, but how you copy the site is up to you.
