Hello,

I have created an reccuring event. I have set out two price types, adult and child and also set additional times with a qty number.

Once I select the required event from the calender, I can select the time required (from drop down) but I can only select one price type (adult or child).

Is there a way to select both options as I want to book an adult and child not just the one. I also have the multiple booking extension installed.

Also I have enabled group bookings. When making a booking, I have to the option to add people. I am asked to add their name and email address but not price option. E.g. a parent will need to book himself/herself with his/her child. Is there a way to do this?

Any help much appreciated

Hi Ricky,

At this time (as of Event Espresso 3.1.35) the way to do this involves moving the registration process to the cart. There is a how to guide that outlines how to set this up here:

Josh,

Thank for the reply.

I have done as requested in the link given above which works fine. However an new problem is occuring when selecting the quantity of people.

I get this error message
‘An error occured, a valid price is required.’

I have set the two prices as normal.

Any ideas?

Thanks

I checked the site linked to the support license for your account and it looks like most of Event Espresso’s templates have been copied over to /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates. Is this the case? If so, then it may be there is an older copy of shopping_cart.php that’s breaking this. It’s best to load up the templates directly from the Event Espresso core plugin (which happens by default, but this gets overridden when all the templates are copied over to /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates.

If removing the templates from /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates does not fix this, please post a link to the event where this is happening so we can investigate further.
