Pre-select payment if only one payment option available

Hello,

For the purposes of frugality, we only allow Paypal as a method of payment. However, during the registration process, customers are still forced to select Paypal as the method of payment. If they don’t, and click on ‘Proceed to finalization of payment’, they get an error stating they didn’t select a payment. Can we please make it so if there’s only one payment option, it comes pre-selected? Thanks!

Hi Mike,

There’s no option to open the payment method based on the number of availabel payment methods currently. However what you can do is set you payment method to ‘Open by default’ and as it’s the only payment method it’s the only one that will show.

Go to Event Espresso -> Payment methods.

Select the payment method you are using and set the ‘Open by default’ option to Yes, then save.

Now retest, does it automatically open for you?
