can you comment on integration with gravity forms, s2member and the wp user database, pre- filling event registration forms, and paypal integration with payment from different events going to different paypal accounts – the answers i have found are invisible to me as a non paid member….

also can you comment on this both presently and what is being worked on and adopted possibly in the near future so i could choose a strategy to deploy phase 1 and then update along with you for phase two

thanks – i really hope to work with this plugin 🙂

Hello,

We don’t have official integration with either Gravity Forms or S2member. But if you have specific questions about the technology we use or how we code, feel free to ask.

Currently payments can only go to the site administrator. If you want payments to go to a separate account, you’ll have to install Event Espresso on a different site.

When you create a question (and question group) all you have to do is click a checkbox to use that question for an event. It makes the questions really easy to reuse.

Yes, custom tickets can include a GRAVATAR.

If you use the WP Users Integration addon your users can see the events they have registered for, but not change them a lot. They can cancel, but not join another event because it may be different than the first event they registered for.

Does that help?

I’m not quite understanding your response re payments going to a separate account.

I’m wondering about sending payments to different PayPal accounts for different events. If I have 30 events sanctioned by my organization that is not for profit and the events are all managed by a director who only manages one of them, I would need 30 licenses and that would be unfeasible –

Also many registrations require specific criteria of the members of the organization to allow them to be eligible to register and that information all resides in the organizations membership – wp-users…so it needs to all go through the one site.

I thought it would be easier to have each events payments going to own PayPal account. For example gravity forms allow you to put PayPal buttons on the form and the IPN from PayPal is recognized in the process by the one plugin on the one site even though te payment is going to different PayPal accounts. And note this is not multiple Paypal accounts in one transaction. It is a specific event being linked to a specific PayPal account

Does this make it clearer of what I mean or where I need help?

Hi Jason,

At this time, Event Espresso does not have a feature that lets you link a specific event to a specific PayPal account. This is a global setting that applies to all events.
