We are looking for a plugin that can set recurring tours and I thought of yours because I have used your plugin on other sites. Here is a list of things we need:

1. The ability to set recurring tours every day at specific hours – i.e. Sunday – Monday: 9am – 1pm, 11am – 3pm, 1pm – 5pm. (Your pro plugin)
2. The ability to set specific holidays as not available (Christmas, New Year’s, etc.)
3. “Ticket” Purchasing… they need to be able to purchase their tour online (your woocommerce plugin?)
4. Multiple attendees from one user in one purchase (purchase is from user + his/her family/friends).
5. Space limits that are shown. There will be a limit of either 4 or 6 people per tour (may change in the future). We would like the calendar to show how many spaces are still available per tour. For example, if there is one person signed up for the 8am tour (which has a max of 4 people) it would show text saying (3 slots available) next to the tour title. If all four are taken if would be nice if that tour was grayed and crossed out or not visible.
6. Pricing levels (currently want to have adult and children’s pricing but may have more types in the future). This would mean that one user can purchase tickets for himself and his wife along with 2 children (max 4 people). The adults may pay $85.00 and the kids $60.00.
7. An adult is required. We would like the available spaces to reflect this in the reservation form. For a tour with 4 slots available the dropdown next to adults could say 1,2,3,4 and the dropdown next to kids would be [empty],1,2,3 and the adults dropdown would be required.

Could you tell me if your plugins can adapt to this system?

Thank you!

Hi,

How are you today?

Regarding your questions:

1 – The Recurring Events Manager add-on is only available for Event Espresso 3 at this time. If you want to create a repeating schedule, I would recommend EE3. However, you will find that EE4 has some features you’d want too (See below), but you will have to create the individual events manually which can be a lot of work. However, you can also duplicate an event so that makes it easier to accomplish.
2 – The Recurring Events Manager for EE3 does not take into account holidays, you’ll just have to edit or delete those occurrences of the event.
3 – Event Espresso 3 and 4 are not an extension of WooCommerce, it has its own checkout engine.
4 – With Event Espresso 3 and the EE3 Multiple Event Registration add-on, you can let people checkout with multiple types of tickets and assign each ticket to individuals (as long as you ask for information from the additional attendees): https://eventespresso.com/product/espresso-multiple/ This is also the case with EE4 and the EE4 Multiple Event Registration add-on.
5- Event Espresso 3 lets you limit total registrations to an event, people can purchase any combination of ticket until the event is full. Event Espresso 4 allows you to limit the number of registrations for the datetimes and event ticket. Both let you display how many tickets remain.
6 – Event Espresso 4 has more options for limiting ticket sales. EE3 only lets you limit the quantity (not combination of tickets).
7 – With Event Espresso 4, you can require a certain ticket be purchased (at least one adult ticket).

Does that help?
