For one of our clients we are considering using the EE3 plugin. But before we do i have a couple of questions.
I’ve looked at EE4 but some features we need aren’t included yet. Is there a known schedule when EE3 will lose support and we have to update to EE4?
Is it possible with the roles and permissions addon to make certain events available for specific wordpress accounts? To prevent everyone with certain rights to see all events.
Our client is looking for a possibility to give attendees who have registered for an event extra information, for example mandatory learning information for that specific event. Is there a possibility to give out this information or make this information available for download but only for attendees for this specific event?
We’ll be supporting Event Espresso 3 for another two years and we will announce well in advance before we stop supporting it.
The roles and permissions pro add-on will let you setup users as regional event managers. A regional event manager will only be able to access and edit their own events. For example, Regional event manager A will not be able to edit the events for regional event manager B:
The easiest option for providing customized information for an event would be to use the custom emails option. This will let you create and use a custom email on a per event basis. You could use this option to share a link to the resources for the event.
The Roles and Permissions Pro addon is not included in the Business licence, but you can buy the addon separately (a licence package is still required in order to provide the core plugin and Roles and Permissions basic is also a requirement).
