How does EE handle letting visitors know when the registration max has been reached?
When a registrant clicks submit to send their info, we want to email a response to the registrant with the info they entered into the reg form AND a ticket with a QR code unique to the registrant so we can track them. How do we do that in EE?
You can display the number of seats available on the registration page.
You can use a shortcode in the confirmation email to send the attendee a copy of all the data they entered. With the ticketing addon you can also give them a QR code in their email confirmation.
When the number of seats available is 0, does that cut off the ability to register for an event? We would like the event registration to “close” once all seats are filled and since that may happen when we aren’t available, we’re hoping EE has a mechanism for that.
Help!!
All I want is to simply purchase the plugin for multiple events, I purchased the event espresso and 1 year support license. God knows. I went back to my email confirmations and its not clear of exactly what it is I purchased. There are so many options and names.
One good thing that has come out of this Kaos is having to experience first hand the result of too many choices without clear definitions. I’m guilty of that as we speak which will be corrected before I finalize my website.
You can’t purchase the Multi Event Registration plugin without first purchasing the core Event Espresso plugin. Looking at your profile, there are no purchases associated with this account; if you did purchase Event Espresso, is it possible you did so with another email address? Or a different username?
