Hello,

I am thinking about using this software for a client of mine, however before I purchase I need to know if it can do the following:

1) When user registers, email with user details is sent to admin (or another person) with registration details. Plus would be to include a PDF of the details.
2) Show a discounted price if register before 30 days prior to event.
3) Global coupon for 50% off only early registration price (#2)

I would be using this software to manage a training facilities course registration. I would need to be able to change the language “Event” to “Course” if possible as well.

Hi Chris,

Here is some feedback on your questions:

1) When user registers, email with user details is sent to admin (or another person) with registration details. Plus would be to include a PDF of the details.
2) Show a discounted price if register before 30 days prior to event.
3) Global coupon for 50% off only early registration price (#2)

I would be using this software to manage a training facilities course registration. I would need to be able to change the language “Event” to “Course” if possible as well.

When a registration occurs, the event admin (event creator) will receive a copy of the registration details. The registrant (attendee) will also receive a copy of their registration. A PDF file is not attached. However, the registrant can download their registration as a PDF file from the thank you (registration confirmation) page.

Event Espresso 3 and Event Espresso 4 both offer an early bird pricing option. In Event Espresso 4, you could set one ticket to start and end on a specific date. Then a regular priced ticket could take over after a certain time period. Since these tickets are separate, this will let you set different pricing.

Another option that is available is that you can hide or show upcoming or expired tickets so that the attendee/registrant will always see the current pricing.

If a promotion code must be used for requirement #3, then Event Espresso 3 would be a good fit. Otherwise, Event Espresso 4 can handle your project requirements.

The messaging can be changed in both versions by using a gettext filter and we have examples available. This will ensure that your customizations are not lost on a software update.

Is there any plans to add a coupon code to EE4? If so how long?
