Hi,

I have got some pre sale questions, I think i need the EE premium plugin, but before i buy it i would like to be sure.
I need a plugin that:
– can Register customers for events
– can be payed by creditcard/ Ideal/Paypal
– a list of registered people, seperated in categories of events.
– a list of payments, who has payed who has not
– the possibility to register and pay directly or register and pay later
– new registers need to be put in a database, for future mailing contact.

Please let me know if your plugin includes all these features, if not could you customize the plugin for me so i will have all these features?

My customer will use wordpress 3.7 in the beginning, i haven’t installed anything yet. I would like to make use of the Sport & Fitness Theme for Gyms & Fitness clubs, do your plugins work with this theme?

cheerss

Hi Ruby,

Thank you for contacting us! We appreciate your interest in Event Espresso. Please see my answers below.

– can Register customers for events
Yes. This is in Event Espresso’s basic functionality.

– can be payed by creditcard/ Ideal/Paypal
Yes.

– a list of registered people, seperated in categories of events.
In order to have them listed in different categories of events, you will need to create separate events for each category.

– a list of payments, who has payed who has not
Yes. This is part of the reporting in Event Espresso.

– the possibility to register and pay directly or register and pay later
Yes. This is possible.

– new registers need to be put in a database, for future mailing contact.
You will need the MailChimp add-on, that is included in the Business and Developer license packages, or can be purchased separately with the Personal license package. This will add registrants’ email addresses to MailChimp in order to send them emails after the event.

May I ask why you customer will be on WP 3.7? We recommend the latest, which is 3.8.1.

I have not heard of that theme before. Do you have a link to it so we can take a look?

Let us know if you have anymore questions. We will be happy to answer them.

Hi Jonathan,

thank you for your quick response!
I’m really happy you guys provide all these features in the plugin.
Can you tell me something about the price of the add on if i would buy the Personal license package?
(the personal license package is the premium one right? with all the features mentioned in the first mail?)

The theme my clients are interested in is only available in WP 3.7 right now, so that’s why they will probably start with that one.

This is the link to the theme:

http://themeforest.net/item/sport-fitness-theme-for-gyms-fitness-clubs/5511464?WT.ac=solid_search_item&WT.seg_1=solid_search_item&WT.z_author=Net-Labs

They really like the features of the theme (time scedule/trainers/calendar etc.)
It’s for their new website, you can find their old website on: http://www.dinghycoach.nl

They want a new website for the sailors who come to their clinics for coaching, so that’s why the plugin needs to work perfectly, otherwise they will miss money/visitors to their clinics:)

If you have any suggestions about an other theme that would look good and works good with EE, please let me know.
There are so many themes, that i sometimes get lost looking for the perfect one haha.

hope your plugin works with the theme mentioned above,

please let me know how much the costs will be,

cheers

Yes. The Personal License is the cheapest of our premium packages. It is $89.95. The MailChimp add-on is $24.95.

I cannot recommend using a theme that has not be updated for the latest version of WordPress. I suggest contacting the developer to see if the theme has been updated to be compatible with the latest version.

It is very important to keep your WordPress version updated for security purposes.

Any theme from reputable theme shops like WooThemes, StudioPress, Elegant Themes, etc. should function fine with Event Espresso. We have seen lots of compatibility issues in the past from themes that were purchased on Theme Forest.

Thank you again for the information, i will contact the developer or try to find a different theme on one of those sites.

I’ll let you know if my client is ready to go and if we will buy your theme.

Thanks again great support!

cheers
