I have a client that is looking to move from Eventbrite to a self managed system but they have some requirements that must be met. I was wondering if your system can do all of the following and if so I will purchase right away. 1. Events with early bird pricing capability (eg, cheaper for the first 20 days, then back to full price) If you can do all the above. Can you help me configure the system to do that? regards |
Hi Mark, Could you share a bit more information about this project requirement: 3. Each event has a number of separate workshops that can be selected across 2 days (ie multiple workshops per day). Approximately how many workshops would occur each day? — |

If you follow this link to the actual event on eventbrite, you will see there what we are trying to replicate. If you choose any of the options (I suggest you look at option 1 first) and request 2 or more tickets you will then see the options available for each of the workshops. Each workshop has a limited number of seats. redacted – LOC please remove the link once you have been to the site.:) |
Hi, I removed the link. I see the approach that you are currently using but it doesn’t seem to let you set attendee/registrant limits for each workshop. Event Espresso 4 will currently handle all of these requirements:
I had a question about the number of workshops as those would need to be created as a ticket option for the registration limit to work. This looks like it would place about 20 ticket option including the early bird pricing, regular pricing, and then the workshop options. 20 ticket options is nearing the limit of what we recommend per event since this information needs to be retrieved from the database. Another option to be aware of is you can hide upcoming tickets and expired tickets (e.g. early bird). Event Espresso 4 will let you collect registration information from each attendee. You can request as little as a name and an email or collect this information and additional information such as an address and other custom questions. Partial payments aren’t currently supported and it looks like you’ll need to receive payments in full for each registration. There is one limitation to be aware of. The ticket selector will not prevent someone from double-booking. For example, if two workshops occur at the same time, then it will allow them to select both. Did you have any other requirements? — |

We are almost there but can we ask additional questions i.e special dietary requirements & how did you hear about the conference? |

what payment gateways can we use with EE4? |
You can add any number of questions, or question groups to your events and set EE to request all information for only the Primary Attendee, or each individual ticket selected. Currently EE4 supports Auth.net, Paypal (Pro and Standard) and Mijreh (which gives you access to over 80 gateways). We also support offline gateways such as Invoice, Electronic Funds transfer and Check/Money order. The list of supported gateways for EE is listed here – https://eventespresso.com/features/payment-options/ Clicking on the relevant version shows the gateways supported by that version. |

Thank you for all your help. I will be purchasing the EE4 and most of the add ons in 10 days (client is unavailable until then) and would like a little help if you could? |
