Thanks for reaching out about your project. Here is feedback on your questions:
1) You can use Woocommerce and Event Espresso on the same site. However, they will not be able to share any information so you would not be able to process event registrations for Event Espresso through Woocommerce and vice versa.
2) Event Espresso will show events using the default /events/ slug. There is a template option in the WP dashboard (WP-admin) to re-order the layout of the events to the order that you mentioned.
3) The ticket selector triggers a registration so if you wanted to skip the single event page, then you could enable the ticket selector for display on the events listing page. That is also a template option within the WP dashboard.
What a shame! We have our own integration for our payment provider + all kinds of post order integrations, so we are dependent on woocommerce.
I hope you would develop support for woocommerce in the future.
