Before we purchase this plug-in I wanted to check to see if this plug-in has these features.

1. We will have three different packages for a event, bronze silver, and gold. Then you can have add-ons like excursions or a trips that they purchase with the package. Does this plug-in allow these?
2. After the registration the user has the option to login to their profile and purchase add-ons.
3. Able to update their profile address or add a picture to their registration profile. I have seen some users talk about “profile builder” for this.

Thanks

Hi Joshua,

Thank you for considering Event Espresso.

1. We will have three different packages for a event, bronze silver, and gold. Then you can have add-ons like excursions or a trips that they purchase with the package. Does this plug-in allow these?

It is possible to set this up but it depends on how you want it to work.

EE4 allows you to create individual tickets within an Event, so you could have a Bronze, Silver and Gold ticket that the user selects, then create individual tickets for the Excursions/Trips.

So for example the user could select 1 Gold ticket, 1 x ‘Excursion 1’ and 2 x ‘Excursion 2’ tickets.

All of those tickets can then be paid for in a single registration.

2. After the registration the user has the option to login to their profile and purchase add-ons.

Currently this is not available. When using EE4 and the EE4 User Integration Add-on te user can log in, view their registration and edit the details of a registration, but they can not add additional tickets (‘add-ons’ in your case)

3. Able to update their profile address or add a picture to their registration profile. I have seen some users talk about “profile builder” for this.

With the user integration add-on mentioned above the registrant has a regular WP User account created for them when they register. You can use any number of user account/profile builders to display the information (Profile Builder for example) but this would not be a part of Event Espresso.

Does that help?

Let me ask this then.

If user has already signed up and they have purchased tickets. How does the system take into account if they want to purchase a add-on ticket or another ticket under the same user?

Currently you would need to cancel the current registration and either the user or admin create a new registration selecting the correct tickets.

This would also need the registration questions be re-filled.
