Potential bug in Additional Attendee Registration info

Although I have selected “No info required” for the “Additional Attendee Registration info?”, EE still asks for the first attendee of each price group!

Information:
version: v3.1.30.4.P
Allow group registrations? Yes
Display registration form? No

Example:
The customer is redirected to the cart using [ESPRESSO_CART_LINK]
If the customer choose 2 Adults and 3 Kids and 2 seniors in the cart and proceed with registration, EE will ask for information of Attendee#1 (primary attendee) followed by personal information of attendee#3 (which is the first kid) and personal information of attendee#6 (which is the first senior)

Hi Bob,

This isn’t a bug. Basically, with the Multi Event Registration add on, it is treating each price type as a ticket/registrant, so they are being asked for their details because they are considered as Primary Attendees, not additional attendees.

If you were to add two tickets for each price type when in the cart (because group registration is allowed), it would still only ask for 2 lots of data, rather than 4. See here http://d.pr/i/Ffuf (excuse the vile colour scheme!) it shows the General Admission x2 and dfsdfsd (a ticket name) x2.

So it is doing expected behaviour, by not asking for additional details if the number of tickets is above 1, but it will ask for Primary attendee data for each price type.

Just to illustrate it further, if you change the No Info Required to Personal Info and add two tickets for each you will get 4 forms to fill out.

We did add a system to enable the user to copy their details over from a dropdown list to help speed up the registration process.

With 3.2 this is likely to change due to the restructure with how attendees and tickets are handled, but we are still working on it.
