Hi. I see this question has been asked before but I can’t make the solution at

work for us. The questions work fine but the postage charge does not get added at any point.
I’ve taken great care to make the question options match those in the code (by copying the questions from the snippet) but the charge never appears.
This cose appears to be a couple of years old now – do you know it if still works? This is quite important for us as we post around 100 – 200 lots of tickets over our festival period and, apart from covering postage cost, being able to apply a charge encourages people to print at home, thus reducing the load on our volunteers.
Other code in functions.php is fine.
Can you help please???

Hi there,
If you’re trying to load the code from a theme’s functions.php, it’s too late in the request. This is because theme code runs after earlier WordPress core and plugins hooks. We recommend adding custom code from a site specific plugin. Here’s a guide that shows how to set up a site specific plugin:
