I love the ticketing add on, however I need to be able to review a list of people who not only signed up to my event but who actually attended. Does the app provide this?

Ideally I’d like to automatically add all people who turned up to a particular list on mailchimp using the integration – not sure if this is possible? In any case I’d like their attendee record for the event to reflect whether they came or not as this will be very useful for post event marketing.

Hi Nova,

Are you using the ticketing app to scan tickets when the attendees arrive? If so, the attendee overview will display an “attended” icon for each record that was updated by the ticketing app when the ticket was scanned.

Please see this section of the ticketing guide:

The current version of the mailchimp integration does not have a feature where it would send out emails to those who showed up for a specific event. This would require the development of a custom plugin that could fetch the attendee records with the attended state and add those to a list.

Thanks for your reply Josh. I missed the bit of the documentation that showed the icon. I noticed when I exported the attendee list it had two fields

Website Check-in

Tickets Scanned

Does website check-in mean the list on the site has been updated, whilst tickets scanned relates to how many tickets were scanned for that attendee (presumably this is because you can book multiple places with one ticket?)

If I can get a spreadsheet with the people who checked in to the event I can import that into a list on mailchimp in the meantime. A little plugin for doing that would be nice though and perhaps something that other EE users who are also using mailchimp might find useful too.

thanks

Nova

That is correct.
