I’m sorry if this is inadvertently rehashing some of what’s already covered. I have two questions, the answers to which would help me make a purchase decision: I can’t decide from what I’ve seen whether it’s possible to bundle multiple events for a discounted price – some of this content is not visible unless you’ve already made a purchase. I know there have been recent posts with in the last few weeks, but can’t see the answers. For the Authorize.net SIM interface, if I want to modify the URLs to access a different gateway, is there any hint on which file requires editing to accomplish this? I’m fairly confident that, based on a previous experience, this would work well. Thank you very much for your help and your time. |
Hi Robin, You can use the Volume Discount Addon (available for free to paying customers, as a pre-release download https://eventespresso.com/support/pre-release-downloads/) to give people a % or dollar amount discount for registering for multiple events. Do you mean you’re trying to integrate a different gateway based on the Authorize.net SIM integration? |

Hi, Garth, and thanks for the quick response. About Authorize.net SIM – yes. I have an account through a gateway that allows use of an Authorize.net emulator, with minimal simple changes and it works like a charm. Is this possible to do with EventEspresso? Thanks again! |
Hi Robin, What is the name of the gateway that you use? |

Hi, Jonathan, |
Robin, Are you saying you have used your eProcessing Network credentials in other plugins that have Authorize.net integration? Their site says it is easy to do, but we can’t make a guarantee that it will work without actually testing it. At this time, we do not have testing credentials in order to test it. |

Yes – I was using a plugin that didn’t have an Authorize.net SIM interface (they had an AIM interface but I didn’t want to use that), purchased an Authorize.net SIM plugin, made the changes described on the ePN site, and it works like a charm. It was very simple to do which is a good thing because I don’t have time to teach myself PHP! If you want to discuss it, please email me and let me know – I’ll be happy to call. |
Hi Robin, Thank you for the explanation. I understand what you are saying, but as I stated we don’t have testing credentials for ePN in order to test this and verify that it works. Here is a screenshot of what is required for the Authorize.net SIM credentials in our plugin. Maybe this will help: http://www.diigo.com/item/image/3b0kk/v1uq Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help with your decision. I’ll be happy to do what I can. 🙂 |

Hi, Jonathan, thanks again, and best regards, |
Hello Robin, I’m not quite sure I understand what you are asking. Once you purchase Event Espresso, you will gain access to the gateway files, but I’m not sure that is what you are looking for right now. Can you help me? |

It’s ok, Jonathan. I just hoped to save myself the time of searching through the files to find what I would need to change. I can certainly do it myself but figured I’d ask. No worries. Thank you for all your help – I hope you all enjoy your Thanksgiving- |

Just remembered one more question (my last?): with a single seat license, is it possible to have a dev site and a live site? Or do you recommend changing the license from the dev site to the live site when a dev site is moved to live? |
Hello again, We recommend the latter, since each license can only be used on one site at a time. If you will let us know once you are ready to move to live, we can reset the license key for you, so you will be able to update and get support on the live site. |
