Possible Hack – 10 tickets purchased at a time under password protected event

Hello, we have an event that is password protected so that exhibitors can use to register for exhibitor badges.
However, in one day, 100 people registered, with one person registering 10 people at a time, 10 times. None of these people registered are exhibitors with our event.

Could there be a possible hack? We only have 29 exhibitors so having more than 100 registered is definitely not right.

With so little information to go with, it’s hard to say what happened there.

It may be a good idea to change the password you’re using for that password protected event, then contact the person that did the registrations and maybe they can explain what they were up to.
