I tried to open the Popup info by clicking on “View Custom Email Tags” and nothing happened! It was working just fine before adding the business license add ons. I deactivated all add ons but the problem is still there.

That is usually caused by a WP theme or another plugin loading scripts onto the Event Espresso admin pages. Try testing out another theme by using the theme test drive plugin. I recommend the twentyeleven theme plugin for testing. Note that with the theme test drive plugin, the original theme will stay the same for visitors of the site.

Hi Josh,
The Problem happened when I added the add ons. i tested with 2011 theme and had the same problem. I do need to get access to those help info as I am not familiar with the science of web developing!

Try deactivating all the plugins with the exception of the core Event Espresso plugin, then check the question marks again. If they start working, then reactivate the other plugins one by one.

Really not sure why they would stop working. It is possible some of the files didn’t get uploaded all the way or may have server permissions issues. You may want to try deleting the version of EE you have installed right now, then download and install it again.

In the meantime, here is the list of email tags:

[registration_id], [fname], [lname], [phone], [event], [event_link], [event_url], [ticket_type], [ticket_link], [qr_code], [description], [cost], [company], [co_add1], [co_add2], [co_city],[co_state], [co_zip],[contact], [payment_url], [invoice_link], [start_date], [start_time], [end_date], [end_time], [location], [location_phone], [google_map_link], [venue_title], [venue_address], [venue_url], [venue_image], [venue_phone], [custom_questions]

Thanks Seth, Do mean I should delete all EE plugins and reinstall them or just the main (Core?) one?
I copied all the short codes and saved them on a text format for future use.

Just to let you know I think I found the problem and it may help other as well. I installed the “custom-files” as regular plugin! My bad!! As soon as I delete the Custom-files from plugins everything works fine. Now I have to find out my way to install it in right place.
You guys are awesome
Cheers,

Josh

Hi Ted,

Check the readme.txt file in the custom files add-on for installation instructions. Note that the custom files add-on is for making advanced customizations to Event Espresso and should only be installed in you’re comfortable with modifying PHP functions and templates.

i am not comfortable at all so won’t install it. If I can make EE works properly for me I am more than happy!
