My WordPress dashboard continually shows 1 update is available but nothing is there to update.
I disabled all the plugins and activated each one and the problem occurs when the Event Espresso plugin is activated. I reinstalled, cleared the cache and the problem is still there. What would be causing this?

Hi,
This bug hasn’t been seen in a while, though if I’m honest I’m not sure we ever found an exact reason for it (it plagued us for a while).
It hasn’t been seen on any of my test servers or been brought to light by any of the support team.
I’ll make a note that this may have returned and to monitor it. It does not cause any issues barring the icon showing.
One test you could make is to temporarily rename the wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates folder to make sure the custom templates aren’t interfering. Also make sure that all Event Espresso addon plugins installed are up to date.
