Hello.
We are currently using the All-In-One Event Calendar plugin by Timely. The Event Espresso plugin is causing the event times for all events on the calendar to show up as UTC time (5 hours ahead of EST). Any ideas how this can be fixed? All time zone settings in WP are set correctly.

Here is a link to the calendar: https://www.mcaepa.org/calendar/

Thank you for any help!

Hi,

Firstly if you have the Event Espresso Calendar add on and the All in One Calendar plugin active, one needs to be disabled otherwise conflicts may occur.

Event Espresso uses the WordPress timezone settings, however it does require the time zone to be set to the nearest city (London, New York, etc) rather than an UTC time setting.

Hey Dean. Thanks for the suggestions. I do not have the Event Espresso Calendar add on installed or activated. Also, my timezone is set to New York, yet I’m still running into this issue. Any other ideas?

Thanks!

Hi,

I did some testing and I see the conflict, though not sure why it occurs. I will get a ticket raised with the development team to look into it.

Hey Dean – Just curious if anyone had a chance to look into this?

Thank you,
Geoff

Hi Geoff,

The ticket is in the developer queue I have upped the priority a bit on it, but I cant advise how long it will take to resolve.
