Plugin broken, affecting admin area.

This is the message we are getting in our WP Admin area,

“An error has potentially occurred while attempting to update some of the information in your database. Please contact Event Espresso Customer Service so that they may look further into this matter and ensure that all data is correct”

Apart from this error, we are unable to make any changes to our website as the changes don’t hold upon saving.

E.g. When we entered our license key to Event Espresso and saved the settings, the page refreshed to save the changes and the license key field came up as empty.

We are also unable to see any of our pages, posts and users in the backend but they work fine on the front end.

We also tried deactivating the plugin, but that didn’t work either.

Hi Steve,

It sounds like the installation did not complete successfully. Can you FTP into your site files and delete the Event Espresso files? Then do a manual installation by following these instructions:
