PHP Errors with Event Espresso On

I’ve just upgraded all my plugins, upgraded to wordpress 5.2.2. I’m now getting the following errors:

Cannot find save handler ‘memcached’ – session startup failed in /var/sites/n/nyswingfling.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/services/session/SessionStartHandler.php on line 65

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /var/sites/n/nyswingfling.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/services/session/SessionStartHandler.php:65) in /var/sites/n/nyswingfling.com/public_html/wp-admin/includes/misc.php on line 1196

Any ideas what might have caused this? I did run a database compact/optimize, but that was before the update, and it seemed to be fine…

Hi,

The error message indicates a problem with your server’s memcached configuration.

What you can do is contact your web site host and ask them to fix that configuration. It’s likely they need to update something in php.ini.
