PHP 5.6 or 7 for Event Espresso?

Hi,
I am moving over to a dedicated server on WPengine and wanted to find out if there was full PHP7 support by Event Espresso?

If not, what is the recommended version to be on?

Hi FXG,

We run multiple sites using PHP 7.0 without any problems, there are a couple of issues we are fixing with PHP 7.1 throwing some notices on the front end if you use the ‘Encrypt Bot Trap Data’ setting within Event Espresso -> Reg form -> Reg form settings but to remove those you can disable that feature for now.
(The encryption method we are using has been deprecated in PHP7.1 but we can just use another)

Personally I would use PHP7 if available, you’ll notice the site runs much faster with PHP7+
