Hi,
This is a strange one.
Personal Details form on the bottom of an event’s registration page is missing if another admin account has updated that event. If i go and click “update event” (even without changing anything) from my admin account, this fixes it. if this other user, who is also an administrator user, goes in and clicks “update event”, this causes the problem again.

Please advise. and let me know if you need a user login.

Hi Amy,
Are you using the Roles & Permissions ad ons (Basic/Pro)?
Is the admin a standard WP admin or and Event Espresso Admin?

The Admin is a standard wordpress admin although we tried Event Espresso Admin but that didn’t help. I also tried creating a new admin account and it didn’t help either.
We are also using the roles and premissions addon (pro i think) to give other users event admin roles.

Hi Amy,
Can you update to the latest version of Event Espresso as well as the add-ons? There have been a few bugfixes to address issues like this one recently.
It looks like the auto updates key was registered to a development site, so you may not be getting update notifications. We can reset the key so that you will have the auto update enabled, so you can enter that key on the live site in Event Espresso>General settings.

When updating the plugins (main and addons) in the past, this has broken and erase some customizations we have done and now I am afried to update them. i wanted to wait till 3.2 is ti will be a major change but who knows when that will come out.
I have tried to follow the instructions for customizing in a way that won’t be damaged by updated but I don’t think that as worked.
what do you suggest?

We always recommend upgrading to the latest versions.
If you have done your modifications in the uploads/espresso folder, they will not get overwritten.
However, occasionally we change the template files so your files in the uploads/espresso folder may need to be updated manually to reflect those changes whilst preserving your modifications.

I might just have to make a site duplicate and update and test everything there first.
Any eta on 3.2? approx?

Hi Amy,
We have an internal timescale, but it has been pushed back a few times so I don’t think its fair to you or others to give a date just yet. We will announce it as soon as we are close to releasing it.
