Person who bought the last tkt is told the event is sold out when they go to pay

Hi, we have small break-out events with only six tickets available per session. We require registration approval, and the approval email includes a link for the person to pay.

Our problem: When someone goes to pay for that sixth and final spot the system tells them the event is sold out. Yes, it is sold out at that point but the person trying to pay got one of the available tickets. They should be able to pay for it.

We’ve used this setup for years and this is the first time this problem is happening. Any idea why this is happening?

Note: I can hack a solution by increasing the number of tickets available. Then once the sixth person goes in to pay I bring the available ticket number down again. But I don’t want to have to keep doing this. It’s a lot of manual tinkering and it leaves the event open for more people to buy tickets until I go back and bring the ticket number down again.

Hi there,

This was actually fixed and the fix was included in the version 4.9.59.p release update. Can you update your site to have the latest version of Event Espresso?
