Hello,
I see there is a way to add a percentage or dollar surcharge on each individual ticket. Our site currently has tickets for at least a hundred different events published, so is there a way to add either a percentage or dollar Surcharge to the cart total on each transaction? Just looking for a way to implement a surcharge across the board instead of editing each ticket to add a surcharge.

I’m not aware of a setting to automatically add a surcharge to each transaction. There might be a way to do it programmatically thought?
Going forward, I would use the default Prices: Event Espresso > Prices, to configure the default price of a ticket that includes that surcharge.
Does that help a little?

Yes, we were able to add some custom code to add a flat dollar fee to the cart total, as long as the cart total was greater than $0. But, it would get erased whenever we needed to make a plugin update. I suppose we will need to go in and edit the ticket prices to include the fee.

Hi Sydney,
You can avoid losing your customizations when making a plugin update by making your customizations into their own plugin and using the WordPress plugin API to “hook” into EE and modify the default behavior.
