Right now I can use these shortcodes in messages:
[EVENT_AUTHOR_FNAME]
[EVENT_AUTHOR_LNAME]
[EVENT_AUTHOR_FORMATTED_EMAIL]
[EVENT_AUTHOR_EMAIL]
How can I use information from the people add-on? Are there shortcodes for these?
I would like to customise messages i.e. html: invoice and confirmation; email: confirmation displaying teachers Name, email and phone number. AND I know that I can use [event_phone] and [EVENT_AUTHOR_EMAIL], etc. but I don’t want to fill out phone number for each event when a teacher is already assigned to that event and I could use information of that teacher which is available but not in the messages system yet.
Any news on this? Nearly half a year now.

Hi Joachim,
Currently, there are not shortcodes to retrieve and display information from the people add-on in the messages system.
An option to exclude expired events has not been added. I’ve added additional feedback to the open ticket.

How long will first iteration (stated in the people add-on FAQ) last? I really love people add-on and find it very useful and it would be excellent if 1.) I wouldn’t have to fill in information twice (wp user and people add-on). Which is nescessary if I want to assign a i.e. teacher to an event so that her/his email is displayed in the messages 2.) because I cannot use people add-on data in messages.
May be this would be a perfect christmas gift ;-))
