Pending Payments Emails Sent Despite Request Not To

I’m having an issue when adding a new attendee is added in backend and that attendee is receiving notification that there is a pending payment – despite me unchecking: ‘Send a notification to registrants’. Emails are still sent. This is confusing since they have paid elsewhere and are simply being added to the system. How can I stop this from happening?

Hi there,

Are you using the latest version of Event Espresso? (Currently 4.8.19.p)

You can find this within Dashboard -> Plugins. Search for Event Espresso and you’ll see a version number there (or it should also be at the bottom of the Dashboard)

You can ignore my previous questions, I have confirmed the same behavior on a test site and created a ticket for our developers to investigate this.

I’m sorry for the trouble.

The ticket is currently awaiting feedback from our developers, I’ll check in with them and update this post shortly.

This is beyond frustrating. This coupled with another issue is just increasing my workload. What is the status please?

Hi, we are verifying a fix and this will be rolled out in our next maintenance release early next week.

This has been fixed! You can get the fix by updating to the current version of Event Espresso 4!
