I’m having an issue when adding a new attendee is added in backend and that attendee is receiving notification that there is a pending payment – despite me unchecking: ‘Send a notification to registrants’. Emails are still sent. This is confusing since they have paid elsewhere and are simply being added to the system. How can I stop this from happening?

Are you using the latest version of Event Espresso? (Currently 4.8.19.p)
You can find this within Dashboard -> Plugins. Search for Event Espresso and you’ll see a version number there (or it should also be at the bottom of the Dashboard)
