PDF Invoice Info, Email Name on Registration Details, Order of Events

Hi, have a few problems/questions:

1. The PDF for invoices aren’t pulling the updated information for the address and payment info. It’s pulling the information from here: http://cl.ly/image/0R2q2h2u160k I updated that and it’s not reflecting. Even creating a new event and registering a new person, it still pulls the old info.

2. Email name on the email that goes with sending an attendee registration details. If we send the registration details again to an attendee, the name that is showing up for the email name is WordPress… The email address is correct, but not the name. How do we get that fixed?

3. Order of Events. The order of events on the events listing page doesn’t make sense. We have events that are happening on the same day but different times not showing up chronologically (and they have the same registration times). The publishing order in WordPress is also not being reflected, so it doesn’t seem that’s what’s setting the order. In any case, just wanting to know how the order is set and if there is any way to control it.

Hi Ryan,

With question #1, where are you updating the PDF Invoice info? Is the invoice gateway option activated? If so, there are fields in the Invoice options that will let you update the instructions/address there.

With question #2, there’s a setting in Event Espresso>General settings under mail settings that lets you enable what they call “Fancy email headers”. When you enable this it replaces “WordPress” with the Organization name that’s set in the above settings.

With question #3, they’re in date order, then it falls back to event ID order if they’re on the same date. There is a way to change the way the events are displayed. What you can do is create a new, separate page for displaying the event list and place the [EVENT_LIST] shortcode on it. This allows for using some additional options to order and sort. Please be sure to place [EVENT_LIST] on a different page than [ESPRESSO_EVENTS]. The two server different purposes. [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] serves up an event list, the registration page, the cart, and the payment page. [EVENT_LIST] serves up an event list only.
