PayPal Standard checkout seems to be working just fine for me in all browsers other than IE (Win8.1, IE 11). In IE, when I click the PayPal button on the /event-registration/?regevent_action=post_multi_attendee page, I am sent to the PayPal homepage (https://www.paypal.com/home). I don’t understand why PayPal Standard checkout would be working in everything other than IE.
That did not work. It was tried by multiple people and did not resolve the issue. It seems unlikely that what I’m seeing could be a known issue with IE and PayPal and not be specific to the plugin. WIN8.1 IE11 isn’t an uncommon browser, so it should work fine, I would think.
Can you provide a link to an example event please? I’d like to test directly to see if there are any obvious issues.
I tested with IE11 on Win 7, and had no issues with being transferred to the PayPal checkout.
Yes it isn’t on Win 8.1, but this clarifies that it is perhaps an OS or Browser issue as it works fine in the same browser for Win 7.
“It was tried by multiple people and did not resolve the issue” – Was this on different computers all using the same IE 11 version (e.g. 11.0.9600.17959)?
Any precise information on the set ups used to test this issue would be very helpful for us to diagnose the exact issue.
