I don’t know if this is an Event Espresso plugin or Paypal issue. When our customer registered for an event and entered credit card information at Paypal and clicked on the Pay Now button, Greek or another language appeared instead of the customer seeing that the transaction was complete. The customer immediately close the screen. This happened to the customer two separate times. I tried to replicate it and was not able to see that issue – my transaction completed properly and I was brought back to the website as expected with the confirmation information. Have you heard of this issue before? If this happens in the Paypal screens is it a Paypal issue or because EE knows when a transaction completes is it a plugin issue? How do I resolve it since we don’t know if it’s happening to other customers and we can’t replicate it?
Sometimes you can run into issues on PayPal’s servers if you have a cookie on your machine (which may be the problem for this user).

Once EE directs the user to PayPal it simply waits for PayPal to send a response to the site, so at that point the issue is most likely to be an issue on PayPals end.

In short, you can’t. To fix it you’ll need to reproduce it but reproducing an error thrown by PayPal themselves isn’t going to be easy, especially as you don’t know the specifics of what was actually shown to the user.
Another option it to use another payment method such as Stripe. It’s an offsite payment method but doesn’t actually send the user themselves offsite to complete.
