PayPal problem

In the last day suddenly I am getting a lot of attendees emailing me with similar problems to this:

“I am registering online for UCAP and I used Paypal and got a reciept from paypal but when I try to finalize my registration it is taking me back to paypal. I have been charged from paypal but am not registered.”

When I check EE for these attendees their status is incomplete. What is happening and how can we fix it ASAP? Our event is Saturday so we are in full registration mode right now.

Are you using the PayPal Express payment method? If not, here’s how to set up PayPal Express:

Using PayPal Express is recommended over using PayPal Standard. Also, you can check Event Espresso > Payment Methods > Logs for specific error messages. Your server may not be configured with what’s needed to communicate with PayPal, and any error messages in those logs will specify what needs to be fixed.
