PayPal Pro not receiving email

HELLO,

Troubles with PayPal Pro. The transaction goes through, the money goes to paypal and event espresso records the attendee info. What is not happening is the email address that was included in the required field at the billing screen, does not get sent to paypal. I can see the transaction in paypal and the email field says: No email address included. Additionally, the name field lists the name and in paranthesis(The sender of this payment is Unregistered)

Any ideas if this is an issue with event espresso or paypal?

We are running Event Espresso – 3.1.36.5.P

Hi Leo,

This may be something on PayPal’s end, but you could verify with them. I checked the code in Event Espresso 3’s PayPal Pro gateway and it turns out it does send the Payer’s email address from the email field:

	'email' => $_POST['email'], // Email address of payer.
