Hello i completed the download of the newest version of event espresso, but now when i make a paypal transaction i am getting this messsage………..

That’s the PayPal Pro option. Do you have a PayPal Pro account, or a standard PayPal account?

It looks like you are trying to use PayPal Pro, but do not have an SSL certificate installed.

Yes im am using PayPal Pro and I have a standard paypal account an no SSL certificate installed.

PayPal Pro doesn’t work with a standard PayPal account, it needs an approved PayPal Pro account. It also requires that a private SSL certificate is installed for the domain of your site.
Once you have an approved PayPal Pro account, and an SSL cert installed, the pages that handle the registration process need to be forced to load as https. See this guide for more info on how to do that: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/espresso-sslhttps/
