When multiple events are selected (I have the MER plugin) the details are not all carried across to PayPal. So if someone buys 3 tickets for 3 different events, although it will process 3 sales, only the event details for one will be flagged up in PayPal.
Although this can be checked in the transactions section of EE, at PayPal’s end, it’s very confusing assigning tickets to events.
Event Espresso actually does send each the ticket name, ticket quantity, ticket price, and event name for each ticket in the cart to PayPal Express, via these fields:
I’m not certain that PayPal displays all of that information on the receipt, but I should ask are you using PayPal Express or a different PayPal gateway?
OK I can check with the developers to see if there’s anything different that can be done from Event Espresso’s end before it sends the information to PayPal via the PayPal Express API to get those cart items to display at PayPal’s end.
Hey PaulB23,
The latest update to Event Espresso 4 (4.9.50.p) includes a change in the PayPal Express gateway in the way it sends those different events as line items to PayPal. This ensures PayPal can display that information when you check the transaction in PayPal.
