I have been running around in circles all morning. I am trying to setup Guest Checkout on my PayPal account and there is no Website Preferences in the menu. None of the directions work. Can you help me? I am on a deadline, and have been pounding my head against my desk for the last 30 minutes.

Please disregard – I finally located it.

Hi,

In this case you would actually be changing settings within your PayPal account. So if you need help with finding a specific setting page within your PayPal profile, you could contact PayPal for support.

Here’s a link to PayPal’s information about the setting in question:

https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/account-optional

One thing to keep in mind though, your PayPal profile may already have Guest Checkout enabled. The reason you may not see a Guest Checkout option while on PayPal.com is because they’ve added a tracking cookie to your browser that says you’ve been logged into PayPal.com recently. In other words, if you want to test Guest Checkout, you can use another browser where you haven’t logged into PayPal.com. Or use a feature like Chrome’s “Incognito” mode.
