I am on EE3 Developer. The redirect for PayPal is acting buggy. When redirected to the “Thank You” page, it then redirects you back to PayPal like you didn’t pay. I had the PayPal settings set to “No on the Bypass Payment Overview Page. Then I set it to “yes” as described on a different support post. This time it did not redirect me to PayPal, but it said the payment was incomplete. When I went to navigate away from the page, it gave me a warning not to navigate away or registration info would be lost. The payment did go through though.
Suggestions? This is not a great user experience. It is weird, because it just started happening.
This is needed to update the payment information in Event Espresso.
Finally, enable the auto return option in your PayPal account.
This is what should happen during a registration:
Attendee/registrant registers for event –> Transferred over to secure PayPal server where they complete payment –> Within a few seconds, then are then returned to your Event Espresso thank you page which should display the payment confirmation (green checkmark).
