This is my second time submitting this support request. I cannot find the first thread, so I think it might not have been submitted. We received the following email from Paypal 5 times so far:
The link above lands on an error that reads: Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #2 is not an array in/home/shepherd/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/gateways/process_payments.php on line 30 |

Hi, Sorry for the problems with posting here, our system put your posts into a holding pattern for some reason. Regarding the error, it looks like it is trying to find an attendee that doesnt exist, you should be able to double check this by going to your attendee overview list and adding this into the Live Search 153-5132e9e84533 I would also advise you to update Event Espresso, there was a PayPal IPN fix a couple of versions after the one you are using, this may also resolve the error. |

The reason we have not upgraded yet is because the last time we upgraded, it broke the templates we had set up. Is that a concern this time around? |
Hi there, It’s always a concern. If you’ve modified templates, the best way forward is to merge your changes into the new templates. With the error message you are reporting, it looks like the registration tied to the IPN that keeps failing was removed from the system. This is the first I’ve seen it where it would cause an IPN to fail though. What you might try is installing the simplified transactions template, which will help speed up the response time between your site and PayPal.com: |
