Hello
We are looking at implementing Paypal Commerce in the latest EE version.
I have noticed from previous posts that it may not be possible to hide the Pay Later option. We would actually just want to show the option to pay by credit or debit card and not show any of the Paypal options. Wondering if there is a workaround that may work to do this (I understand this may all depend on Paypal though).
Also there was a message that Paypal Express and Paypal pro will be deprecated – do yo have a timeline for that at this stage (we signed up originally in the EE3 days using paypal years ago and have been upgrading through EE4 etc since then).

Hi Joe,
I have noticed from previous posts that it may not be possible to hide the Pay Later option.
That was past versions, later versions of EE include options to enable/disable PayLay and Venmo funding options within PayPal Commerce:

However, if you are just wanting to use the card option, set the ‘Checkout Type’ option in the payment methods settings to be ‘Advanced Credit and Debit Card payments’. That will remove the ‘PayPal Express’ section (the PayPal buttons) completely.

The current timeline for this is early Jan 2025
